WHO WE ARE
Based on the International Clubhouse model, Alliance House was founded in 1987. Offering evidence-based vocational and social rehabilitation, this nonprofit provides a non-clinical environment in which members and staff run the day-to-day operations of the house as collaborative equals.
As one of twelve Internationally accredited Clubhouses, Alliance House is an international training center site. Through an intensive training program, Alliance House assists other Clubhouses in bringing this proven community model to life.

What is Clubhouse
A Clubhouse is a community-based service dedicated to supporting and empowering people living with serious mental illness, known as Clubhouse members. Based on the Clubhouse Model of psychosocial rehabilitation, each Clubhouse offers a collaborative, restorative environment where Clubhouse members can recover by gaining access to opportunities for employment, socialization, education, skill development, housing and improved wellness. Organized around the belief that every individual has something valuable to contribute to society, Clubhouses effectively help people build self-confidence and end the social and economic isolation so often associated with mental illness.
